Three Spirit: The Perfect Drink for any Stage of Sobriety
paid partnership with Three Spirit Drinks
The joys that come with my sobriety are often inspired by what I gain (improved mental health, more money, love, etc…) vs. what I gave up (alcohol). I spent countless years *still* drinking because I looked at sobriety through a simple, naïve lens: Sobriety = Not Drinking. While that’s technically true, my hypothesis lacked nuance. Everyday that I’m booze-free is a gift to my sanity, my physical health, my writing career, and my relationships.
The non-alcoholic drink brand, Three Spirit, took a similar approach when crafting their delicious elixirs. “We’ve created plant-based alternatives to alcohol that celebrate what you put into a drink, rather than what you take out,” says their mission statement.
How To Enjoy Three Spirit
While I love drinking these on the rocks, their site offers several yummy recipes for both mocktails and cocktails! A few bottles of Three Spirit is a lovely addition to your bar cart that provides drinks for all types of guests.

These Drinks Have Aphrodisiacs
Fun Fact: I recently had the chance to chat with Geyan Surendran, Three Spirit‘s Development Scientist/Botanical Alchemist while doing research for my book on booze-free sex, dating, and relationships. Geyan graciously shared some herbal aphrodisiacs that are also in Three Spirit’s drinks. Friendly reminder to check with your doctor before consuming any of the following herbs. They have many health benefits but for the sake of context, I’m just discussing the sexy stuff.
- Ashwagandha is an Asian shrub that can help people achieve orgasm and regulate testosterone. This root is in Three Spirit’s Nightcap.
- Schizandra is a Siberian berry that can be a natural stress reliever and energy stabilizer. This berry is in Three Spirit’s Livener
- Damiana is an ancient Mexican aphrodisiac that can help with sexual performance. This flower is in Three Spirit’s Social Elixir.
